"This type of training is outstanding"

"This type of training is outstanding. We need more instruction of this type. The material is very relevant to our training. The drills and skills can be easily incorporated into the PT program for conditioning while practicingand improving combat skills. The boxing drills will be useful for improving the "warrior mentality." These drills will improve our agents mental ability to move to the attack. The Brazilian Jiu-jitsu drills will improve conditioning, fitness, and explosive power. These drills and techniques will enhance our agents ability to practice and perfect their and technique. These will also improve officer survivability."

"...best school then I have attended"

"This was the best school then I have attended in the DOE system regarding Defensive Tactics. The instructors are awesome, and a wealth of information. Special thanks to Jeff Martone for organizing the class. Also would like to thank Josh Scherry for his recommendation so tha t we could attend. Again thanks Jean and Steve."

"...technical precision is second-to-none"

"This training was invaluable to me as a IUF/Ground Control instructor. The defensive boxing skills presented by Steve Baccri were excellent. Every agent needs to know how to confidently defend and counter, multiple incoming stikes/punches. Most assauts on officers are below the level in which deadly force is justifie. All skills and drills were presented in "craw-walk-run" fashion, which will make easier for us to duplicade when teaching others. Jean Kleber is a world-class Vale Tudo competitor and instructor. His effective teaching style and technical precision is second-to-none. I believe it would be in our best interest to continue our "instructor proficience training" with Kimura BJJ. There is no doubt that this is the direction we need to go with our combative program and as an agency."

- Jeff Martone

"...very high quality trainers"

"All the information taught was very helpful in boosting my confidence. I have no background in boxing and the drills that we learned really helped us progress quickly in all areas of striking/defense. All of the material directly applies to our work and how we should be training. The instructors were both very focused and professional. Both of the instructors had very effective methods of teaching . They were very willing to teach everything they knew. Both intructors were willing to answer any questions we had. There was also a lot of one-on-one instruction...very high quality trainers."

- Aaron Betts

"...relate real world experiences to every drill"

"These instructors really knew their topics and could relate real world experiences to every drill. We have 4 levels of non-lethal force that need to be addressed before deadly force. The training these instructors bring to the table addresses those critical skill sets needed to survive. The boxing component is especially critical and is never really addressed in DOE training. I believe what "Kimura BJJ School " brings us in their philosophy is the direction DOE needs to go."

- Todd Bisacchi

"...easy to work with"

"Both instructors were very knowledgeable and easy to work with"

- Richie Carter

"...they miss nothing that you are doing wrong"

"Excellent training, great job at keeping the course at our level and not advancing too quickly. Great drills to reinforce the training. Need more time to work what was taught and then we need to bring them back for more instructions.Great course. Both instructors were excellent. They are so good at their trade that they miss nothing that you are doing wrong. They advanded the training when we were read and backed it up when they need to. Kept the lessons at our level and speed. Outstanding course, thank you."

- Billy Fandel

"...teach basic enough for any one to learn"

"The course of instruction was perfectly tailored to us. It speaks volumes of the instructors (both Steve Baccari and Jean Kleber) that they can teach basic enough for any one to learn, but advanced, functional and real world enough to be useful and applicable to civilian law enforcement and/or military. My boxing abilities (which I had none prior Steve's teachings ) have given me a great deal of understanding that translates to confidence and growth. Jean's Brazilian Jiu-jitsu was so clear that I learned more in 3 days with him then many months at a reputable school. I appreciate their time and energy put into helping us be better fighters (all around) and thus better instructors for the government's protectors of one of our country's most precious assets."

- Brian Myers

"Thank you for your knowledge and experience"

"The course covered a lot of important issues. The importance of knowing how to properly throw a punch...all the way through to knowing how to conduct basic boxing movement and techniques, plus safety were addressed and instructed by Steve Baccari. Also Master Jean Kleber gave an excellent course on proper movement and techniques plus drills and ground control techniques. Everything that was taught is what was needed to help prepare agents for a situations that they may encounter in the real world today in the street.

Both Steve Baccari and Jean Kleber very excellent instructors. I have learned more about the fundamentals of boxing, which I was not aware of, and the importance of how to adjust in small details when it comes to performing ground control techniques. It has been an honor to be asked to be instructed by experienced instructors as Steve Baccari and Jean Kleber. Opportunity like this rarely happens. Thank you for your knowledge and experience."

"...instills confidence as well as endurance"

"Fits very well into our IUF( i.e.Defencive Tactics) program. This training also instills confidence as well as cardio endurance. It's a win win program! We need to continue to 'train-the-trainer' with current experts in the field. (Like these that taught this class)"
