At KimuraBJJ we ONLY offer classes and training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu so we can focus 100% on being the best BJJ school around. We teach only Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and that is EXACTLY how we like it.
In an effort to appeal to the largest number of potential students, an ever increasing number of martial arts schools these days are offering classes and instruction in a variety of martial arts styles under one roof- Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Karate, Kickboxing, MMA, etc… These schools propose to offer students the opportunity to master many martial arts styles all within a single school. At Kimura, we have a uniquely different approach with our singular focus on Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
Master Jean Kleber the owner and head instructor of KimuraBJJ maintains a daily presence in the school that he founded and personally teaches most classes. These days many martial arts instructors of Master Jean’s caliber choose to travel the globe to compete in tournaments and conduct teaching seminars, taking valuable time away from their own schools and students. From the inception of KimuraBJJ Master Jean has been fully committed to focusing his attention entirely on teaching his own students and training his own instructors, choosing to put aside his own very successful competition career (see Master Jean’s biography). Master Jean believes that by making KimuraBJJ students his first priority he can continue to maintain the highest standard of instruction within his school.
We offer a full range of BJJ classes for Men, Women, Teens , and Children of all ages and ability. We offer programs for the novice just beginning their journey toward BJJ mastery as well as programs to challenge the most advanced practitioners of the art. For those of our students who enjoy testing their BJJ skills in competition our tournament training and preparation is second to none and we take great pride our proven track record of competition success.
We encourage anybody who would like to experience an authentic approach to learning the art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to try one of our classes. We offer a full schedule of classes every week. The only requirement is a willingness to learn and a desire to become a part of our unique Kimura BJJ culture of unity, discipline, and BJJ excellence.
