The 3rd Kimura BJJ Academy Tournament will be held on October 18, 2008 at 1:00pm at the Watertown school. Weigh-ins with the gi on will start at 12:00pm. Weight classes can be found on the ibjff.org website.

Students must register and pay the registration fee of $50 by October 16th.  1st and 2nd place in each division qualifies the student to be on the ‘A’ team for subsequent tournaments. Medals will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners from each division. In addition, Atama and the Kimura BJJ Academy will be giving a new Atama gi to the absolute division winners (both under 181 and above 181). Noberto Junior and Alexim Moving will also sponsor the competition fee for these winners at the next Naga New England tournament. This year we will also be introducing a purple belt absolute division with all of the prizes mentioned above for the winner in addition to a 1st place trophy!

All students are encouraged to participate, however if anyone can not compete for any reason they are more than welcome to come watch and support their friends and fellow students!
